Further to my message of 26 November 1998, can someone give me some advice on the following points: a) My great aunt Ada GANDON arrived in Seattle early in 1915. She apparently then married a U.S. Navy man. Am I right in assuming that the naval shipyard at Bremerton was the only U.S. Navy base in Puget Sound in 1915 or were there others in the area? b) How can I check out marriages in Bremerton / Port Orchard for the period 1915 - 1920?
