This Lady lives in a veritable cave of iniquity, a gen's. dream, no nightmare. Well, anyway she has the d. . .. . . . . collection of yearbooks you've ever seen, among the geanealogical archive that reaches floor to ceiling of the "Loft" complete with lounges, overstuffed chairs - stacked beyond imagination with boks, books and MORE BOOKS! But just ask her where to find something and she can direct you right to the pile and practically which page in which book in which "stack" you will find it. Well, to be more honest, and less flambouyant with this kind Lady, she has a large collection of books in her store in Marysville. I first ran into this lady when her store was across the street from the reknown Dutch Bakery in Marysville (it has a name, but I can't spell the Dutch name - but just ask anyone. When I found out that she had gen. books and taught gen I purused the joint - the collection was impressive and the Lady friendly and informative. But, the next time I visited the site after consuming those freshly baked donuts (modern spelling), I found that she had moved down the street a piece. The time span was long enough that she had multiplied her whole book collections to look to be about 10 xs what she held in the old store. But that was just the 1st floor - then I hit the loft - more books - then I saw the huge gen section - enough to make a gen. salivate all over the "pulps" up there. Then the yearbook collection - looks like at least 5000 of em. All full of young people pix from years ago and from everywhere. So, I will NOT miss even 10 secs of the debut tonight at 7 whatever p.m. KING-TV, CH 5 - I will have the VCR running not to miss the wide angle lens shots of the "collection and its owner" I have labeled her LADY DAR, because BOOKSTORELADY thing run off the edge of my Address Book screen. If you ever get a moment and want adventure and you are in the vicinity of Marysville, WA USA stop in an see Darilee at her Store if you can find her in there among stacks of books of every description - well, not every, but nearly so. She is inundated with books - but she knows her way 'round the place - just ask. Glad to hear that you have hit it Big Time, Darilee - she is a great person, keeps one heck of a gen. rec. that the late Clara Matthias had collected on valuable cem. info - and still finds time to raise a family and keep the home fires burning. But we'll all have to pitch in and help if the Big One hits and I hope that Darilee is safe at home and not at the Store!
