Hello! The South King County Genealogical Society is proud to have Curt Roselle speak on The Paper Trail of a Military Veteran at our next meeting. The military veteran leaves a paper trail containing data of priceless genealogical and historical value. It includes far more than the familiar service and pension records. The trail can begin before he enters service with draft records and military service academy applications, may continue after his service with pension, state bonus, and soliders home records, and may even follow him to life's end and after with National Cemetery and headstone application records. Curt Roselle will discuss his "paper trail" of records with emphasis on the less familiar records. Curt is a member of various local genealogy societies, and is a regular Wednesday volunteer at the Regional Branch of the National Archives, where he also teaches classes in Military, Land, and Native American records.
