A series of six classes on genealogy will be taught from 10 am to noon Wednesdays, June 13 through July 25, at the Tri-Area Community Center in Chimacum. The classes are designed for both beginners and those with some experience who would like additional help. Topics: Getting Started, Census Records, Libraries and Courthouses, Immigration and Migration, Overcoming Dead Ends, and Using Computers. Instructor is Carolyn Hutchinson Brown; Carol has been active as a researcher, teacher and lecturer for 22 years. The fee for six sessions is $40 for Jefferson County Genealogy Society members, $50 for non-members, and $10 for individual sessions.
