The beauty of the setting -- amongst the hills and valleys and amidst the old trees. The very obvious differences in cultures represented by the diversity of burial methods -- the names alone give one a feeling of being in several foreign countries within a few steps of each other. My great-grandparents and two of their children who died at a young age are buried there. (Surname: LOWER) Family lore tells us that a "hired man" is also buried there, but has no headstone. The little plot, under towering trees, is covered with concrete in the shape of coffins left slightly above ground and is fenced with a beautiful old wrought iron fence. I have only been able to visit there once in this lifetime, but the vision of that cemetery will live within me for the rest of my life. Thanks for mentioning it. Norma
