My husband's maternal ancestors came to Puget Sound in the 1880's. The EATON and ANDERSON families homesteaded out of Forks, Clallam Co, WA. But the US Government decided they wanted the land back for part of the Olympic National Forrest, so they sold it and moved to Orillia, Kent Co, WA in the late 1890's. They originated in Pennsylvania, then migrated to Missouri then back to Pennsylvania then out to Washington.
