Hi Carol, I'm looking for Warren Reed from Maine who came in 1863 and married a Snohomish Indian woman and had sons John, Frank, Wallace and Ernest. Thanks for the help and Happy New Year. Sincerely, Steve.
Hi Hazel, Thank you for the return reply. Yes, I can be more specific. Looking for Warren H. Reed, or sons Frank, Wallace A., John, & Ernest. Warren may have had other brothers at the time as well but I don't know any of their names as of yet. Thanks for the lookup. Happy New Year. Sincerely, Steve.

Re Skagit logging, an oldtime logger I knew was raised in Big Lake and logged the whole area, was MEL ADCOX. He was a tree topper as was his father and brother Cleve Adcox. -----Original Message----- From: PSRoots-D-request@rootsweb.com <PSRoots-D-request@rootsweb.com> To: PSRoots-D@rootsweb.com <PSRoots-D@rootsweb.com> Date: Monday, December 28, 1998 6:30 AM Subject: PSRoots-D Digest V98 #427
Hi, Any chance you could look in your book to see if Elias Cole is listed. He is my great grandfather who I'm trying to find out more about. Everyone rested after Christmas? I have a question regarding marriages in King Co. Maybe someone here can help. I am looking for a way to find out if Charles H. DALY and Clara Frances BUSH (aka BOUCHER) were married in King Co. sometime between 1885 and 1890. Can someone suggest where I should start my search? Thank you, Bob Martin Eagle River, Alaska
Kitty, Could you check on the Smith Family.... Albert moved up there at the turn of the century...to Sumas I think. Also both the sisters moved up there Lottie Saar (George Saar), and Edna Myrtle Bond (Loren Bond). George was up there also, but died in Oct 18, 1898. George Smiths children were, Frank, Viola, and Azure. Albert Smiths married ALice Saar, not sure about children. Lottie Saar's children I do not know Edna Myrtle's children were Charlotte, Alberta, Walter, Hubert, I gave the children's names in case the children stayed in the business of the parents. Thanks donna Donna, who is a newborn babe, desiring the sincere milk of the word, that I may grow thereby..... <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> < Richard and Donna Potts Walling < rwalling@greatnorthern.net < <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Steve, there are many, many Reed & Reid names in our Funeral Home Records Book. Can you give me any specific names to look for? Hi, Anthing on the surname Reed in your new book? Thanks for the lookup. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Sincerely, Steve
I have a Mary Crookes, born July 31, 1818 in Niagara, Canada, died Aug. 18, 1852 in Newton, Michigan. I realize that the spelling is different but I have found that people didn't pay much attention to spellings back then. Maybe we have a person in common. Merry Christmas, everyone! My friend, Jim, gave me a wonderful book on Skagit County for Christmas, "Logging Railroads in Skagit County." Dear friends, We have been refered to your address for possible information about the history of the pokiser-family in the US. The pokiser-family lived and lives in the eastern part of germany, in Czechoslovakia, and now mainly in Austria. there is one branch that emigrated to the US. The only member of that family now is living in the Seattle area; but the family have been living there at least since about half a century. So we hope that you can help us to gather some more information. Thank you very much and merry Christmas! Siegfried Kreuzer
Is there anyone who has access to the Tacoma City Directory for the years 1901-1903? I found a blurb in the Morning Olympian paper that stated that Charles E. Griggs arrived at the Olympia Hotel from Tacoma on 06/24/1902. I would like to find out if he and Mary (Hurley) Griggs were living there at the time. I would appreciate a look-up. Thanks to anyone who can help. I don't know about out in WA, but here in MN all these small town papers have a "society" section, that details who visited who and what they had for lunch. <grin> They not only make a fun read at times, but who knows, sometime in the future someone may look to them for information! What seems unimportant now may be very valuable in the future. That's how I found this lead to Tacoma. Happy Holidays to All! LaNaye
Thanks to Evelyn I now have lots of information on the Callow family. If there is anyone else out there looking for Callows - I would be glad to look through the information Evelyn sent me. A Big THANK YOU to Evelyn! LaNaye
Evelyn, That would be great if you think that it would have more information then the obit. that I found in the Astoria Daily Buget. Really what I'm after is his parents. Let me know.
