My search of the LDS library microfilms shows Raddatz being in Prussia, in Pommern. There was only one listing for Raddtaz. The search for Radacz had the exact same results. Those microfilmed church records start in 1810, almost a decade BEFORE Carl was born. However, the baptism records seem to be missing the year 1827 from my quick survey. You should look at it more carefully.
