Seeking information on Carl Friedrich SCHULZ b. 20 Aug 1819 in Raddatz. He married Laura Amalie LASCH b. 11 Feb 1827 in Stargard. I would also appreciate knowing how to find records for these areas, which are now Poland. The LDS does not have records filmed for this area until later. Thank you Barb

Barb; I wonder whether your C.F. Schulz could be the younger brother of my gggf Martin Schulz. I don't know where Martin was born but he and his wife had my ggf Martin Fredrich Schulz in Hohenselchow, Kreis Randow, Pommern in 1846. That town is not too distant from Stargard near New Brandenburg or Stargard in Poland a little east of Stettin. If you send me your mailing address offline I will mail you a copy of what I entered in Die Pommerschen Leute a few months ago and you can see if we might have some earlier connection. I don't have anything on gggf Martin Schulz or his wife Marie Sie except they probably were in Franch in their much younger years as they were decendants of family that were Huguenots and most left for Prussia in the late 18th century. They all came to Winona County Minnesota in 1869+ and Cass County North Dakota Territory in 1878.
