As always, I quite agree with Le-Geefted-One! I found Chlapau in Meyers - it is indeed a Dorf (village) in Prussia, West Prussia, government district of Danzig (Gdansk in Polish, currently), Kreis (similar to our county) and court district of Neustadt, with a Standesamt (civil registration office for births, marriages and deaths from around 1874-76) at Schwarzau.
