Hi all, I am new to the list and have a question........ My Biewer (Beaver, Biwer) ancestors came from a town called Kell. Was this considered part of Prussia? Some census records say Germany others Prussia and naturalization states Emperor of Germany. I am confused. Does this town still exist and where is it located? They were Roman Catholic and I don't know how to find out the church they attended to attempt to obtain records. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Arden
