    3. On what basis would you object to this price increase? I presume that NARA has calculated that they are losing money on each pension file retrieved and copied. Keep in mind that most German archives charge 1 Euro per page plus a handling fee. I am not necessarily for the price increase but on the other hand I believe that fees for special government services must cover the cost of providing special services requested by individuals. - Michael On Mar 1, 2007, at 7:15 PM, prussia-roots-request@rootsweb.com wrote: > Message: 6 > Date: Thu, 1 Mar 2007 15:26:07 -0800 (PST) > From: ~~C <c_lion@purringfox.com> > Subject: [PRUSSIA-ROOTS] Records price may raise from 37.00 to 125.00 > To: prussia-roots@rootsweb.com > Message-ID: <722369.31890.qm@web32615.mail.mud.yahoo.com> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 > > I can see a raise in prices, but from $37.00 to $125.00? > > On the NARA pension records price increase from $37 to $125, comments > to the proposed rule may be posted online by April 27, 2007. > Go to: http://www.regulations.gov > In the search box, type "NARA Reproduction Fees."
