Hello everyone I am looking for the town where my ancestor John Henry Schubert, a.k.a. Henry Schubert, was born. He was born in June 1835. He came to America and worked for a few years, then he returned to Prussia to get married. After he was married he and his wife Sidona Anna (Dich) Schubert came back to America. They departed from Southampton, Bremen, Germany and arrived in New York, New York on June 5, 1867. They then traveled to Plumas County, California where they made their home. John Henry Schubert was the son of Ferdinand Lukas Schubert (the brother of the famous composer Franz Peter Schubert) and Johanna Von Weipking. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
