A simple Google search revealed much different data. Ferdinand Lukas Schubert was born in and lived in Austria (same as brother Franz Peter Schubert), not Prussia. His wife's name was Anna Maria Schülle, not Johanna Von Weipking. Additionally, they had no children after 1831 (Anna died in 1831) and had no child whose name is close to "John Henry Schubert." See the following link (the second Family Group on the page) . . . http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/franzschubert/tree/gp50.htm While virtually nothing on-line can be used as proof of relationship for genealogy, on-line data is good for clues. However, in this case the clues lead to the conclusion that you have received poor information. I suggest you start researching your roots by working from the known to the unknown, one generation at a time using primary evidence. Locales of European origins are almost always found in the records of the immigrant's new country. It's a tremendous long shot to look for origins in the old country without this information. Good luck, LGO
