Hello, Karl! Thank you very much. I sincerely appreciate the help and will write to the Zentralarchiv in Berlin. Will let you know if I have success. BTW, do you know anything about Pfoerten, now Brody, in Poland? The son of Christoph [Christophorus] Teske, Samuel Teske, served as a pastor there in 1712 and subsequent years. In fact, his son, Benjamin Philipp Teske was born in Pfoerten [now Brody] 24 September 1732, and died in Forst/Lausitz in 1754. Is there a contact person or office in either Forst/Lausitz [on the Neisse River] or Brody, east of the Neisse River, now in Poland? Herbert Here is the e-mail address to the other Ev. Archive in Berlin. I believe that most of Their records are in Pommern . http://www.ezab.de/d/aframe.html I tried to sent the English translated page , I hope that it goes thru OK I wrote to Them before for a record in Posen and They refered Me to another Polish address , and then charged Me 10 EURO , and then wanted My address to send the bill to Me. They then charged another 12 EURO , and when I got thru with all of the registered postal charges , and money exchange rate , and a postal charge for the return notice of the Cashiers check that They received . The total to Me was $48 , for Them to tell Me that They did not have the records !!!! However I guess that it was worth that amount of money to check out that one source Karl Roussin ====================================== ----- Original Message ----- From: "Herbert Teske" <herb29@sbcglobal.net> To: <prussia-roots@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, March 25, 2007 5:56 PM Subject: Re: [PRUSSIA-ROOTS] Grossziethen, Germany > Hello, Karl! > > Thank you very much.
