Hello all, I am seeking ways to find the parents of JOHANN FREDERICK C. SIEVERS, born ca 1842, according to the 1881 census for Hartlepool England, was born in SALLIDA ??, Germany. (Note - he is listed as SIVERS on the census). He came to England and married Mary Jane Gardener and settled in Hartlepool. I know very little about German genealogy and so would like some help to find a little more. Also if there passenger ships lists to the UK just after this time. I have found him on the 1901/1891/1881 and 1871 censuses for Hartlepool. Thank you, Terry King
