Looking for information/family of August and Amalie WEDE of Schleswig- Holstein. August Friedrich b. 1833(?) married Amalie LEPTEN (Loeptin) b. 1830. Children: Henry, Emil, Emma, Marie and Agnes. August may have died in Germany, and Amalie and her children: Henry, Emil, Maria and Agnes arrived in New York on 8 May 1882. (It is believed that Emma immigrated a year earlier and married Ludwig Hortsmann.) They departed from Hamburg, Germany. Agnes died on the ship before reaching America.
