I am trying to find where my ggrandfather, Nicholas Niederprum originated. He was born 15 Jul 1834 in Truisa, Prussia and he married Eva Huber, but don't know the date or place. Eva was born about 1838 either in Prussia or Bavaria. Nicholas is in the 1860 census in Kentucky with one son, Nicholas. In 1870 he is found in New York with Eva and 2 sons, Nicholas and Frank. It is all I have as my father's family has the idea that because they are dead we don't need to know anything about them. I would greatly appreciate any leads or help sent my way.
