Hello all, I have numerous dead ends on my family tree that end in and around Moers. If have information such as Eick by Moers, Krefeld, and Moers itself. The dead end that interests me the most is Tilmann Kamanns who was married to Anna Weinberg. I know Anna hails from Moers and I am guess Tilmann does as well, but I have no location information on him. Tilmann was an original founder of the church I still attend and homesteaded the farm I grew up on and my father still lives on. From those church records I have found that Tilmann was born 5 aug 1822 and married Anna Katherine Weinberg who is from Eick by Moers, Germany. Anna was born on 21 dec 1835 and died on the 30 may 1922 in Carver County, MN. Tilmann died on the 10 november 1885 in Carver County, MN. Are there any resources or contacts anyone could recommend to further this limb of the tree? I did find some information regarding a Heinrich Kamanns who married a Bongardt who could be Tilmann's father but I cannot confirm. My grandfather was Henry and the church that Tilmann helped start is located in Bongards, MN and the first president of that church was a Bongardt.
