Sorry to jump in. I missed the initial e-mail so if I am repeating something, please forgive me. However, I searched for Fahrenwald and Vahrenwald which brought me to Hannover which became annexed to Prussia in 1866. There is a section of the modern city called Vahrenwald (and, in someplaces, sometimes called Fahrenwald). It would be my guess that, if you are looking for a place, try Hannover. Often these sections of present large Germany cities were once small dorfs or villages and were slowly swallowed up by the larger town. Again, I apologize if I somehow guessed incorrectly what the question was. Bea Cholewa WhitmerJ@aol.com wrote: > Sue, > > The name "Farenwaldt" may not be spelled correctly.
