Hi Karl, Sorry I should have been mentioned I've been researching my family tree for over 10yrs. I have searched all the usual on-line sources. I've also looked at European Archives, though a bit difficult at times, as not all of them have an 'English' version. :) Plus I've searched the micro-films/fiche at the LDS Family History Centres with no luck. I had hoped Germany would have a central Registry of Births, Death & Marriages so I could request birth or death certificate. Kind regards, Sherrie. -- http://www.silkweb.com.au/ On Mon, 23 Apr 2007 01:17:34 +1000, Karl Roussin <kroussin@fidnet.com> wrote: > Sherrie > Have You > Checked out > > http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Search/frameset_search.asp > or > http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/ > or > http://www.surnamenavigator.org/ > > Just fill out the blanks , and click " search " , or " go " > > There are several Archives in Germany , however check out those above > web pages first , there maybe records online. > > Karl Roussin
