Thanks Robert.They seem to have modified their name c1900 to 'de' Seelhorst though in a 1922 shipping list it is back to 'von' again with a Munich address. Hi Patricia, I also have a "von" in my ancestry, and sometimes it was written as "de" instead....seemed to depend on who was doing the writing or where - de would be the French equivalent of von. My von Levelings were originally in the Trier area, closer to France, so maybe French influence had something to do with it. Good luck.
