Dear Karl, I am so sorry! I found this in my Drafts folder and realized I had never sent it. Please forgive me. I am very grateful for your help, truly. Thank you very much indeed. This confirms another bit of information I had received some time ago without a source. I have been unable to find any church records whatsoever in America for this family so I could not even narrow my search to Protestant or Catholic. The woman he married in New York was from Stargard, which I understand is now in Poland, but their marriage record and the birth of their daughter in New York have not yet turned up in any of my searches. I do find the bride's father in several records, and he was careful to identify his native village as Stargard. I surely wish my other ancestors were as considerate.:-) Best regards, Doris > > Date: Fri, 24 Apr 2009 10:27:07 -0500 > From: "Karl Roussin" <[email protected]> > Subject: Re: [PRUSSIA-ROOTS] PRUSSIA-ROOTS Digest, Vol 4, Issue 97 > To: <[email protected]> > Message-ID: <[email protected]> > Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed; charset="iso-8859-1"; > reply-type=original > > Doris > Following from the IGI , is a record of a Henry W.
