    3. I am new to the list, and am searching for my ROSENTHAL family in Poland. My great-great-grandfather, Ignacy ROSENTHAL <1839> came the the U.S. in 1881, along with his wife, Katrzyna (Panglisz ?or? Radzicki) and their children Joseph <1863>, Anton <1867>, Maryana <1873>, Katrzyna <1878>, and the twins, Adam and Ignacy <1880> It is said that their daughter, Stanislawa "Stella" was born on the ship coming to America. The boat manifest showed a Stanislaw that was age 9. I am wondering if that should have been Stanislawa, and only 9 days old, as once they got to the U.S., there is no record of a Stanislaw. None of the Catholic parishes that they belonged to in Nebraska or Wisconsin show any death record for a Stanislaw Rosenthal. The ship manifest only states that they came from Prussia, but a cousin, says that her father (Joseph <1863>) always said he came from Poznan, but there is a chance that they may have come from Pommerania. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Monica Rosenthal Zendejas [email protected]
