What you need to help you find the closest church of that timeframe is an old plat map for the county. Or, preferrably, a detailed plat map for the township that your family lived in. Locate their farm or town that they lived in and then look for little crosses on the plat map that indicate churches. Where did your Ferdinand and Anna Moers settle?
