Hi Kathy, thanks for the plat book tip. I will see if I can locate one for the time period. They settled as Ferdinand and Anna Morse in Henderson County IL. Other than the Castlegarden record indicating their arrival in New York on 02 Dec 1881, the earliest record I have found is the 1900 census record for Gladstone Villiage. They lived in Henderson County their entire lives. Anna died in 1929 and I suspect Ferdinand died in 1930. I have ordered copies of their death certificates as one of the listers has suggested.
