Hello Glen - What a fabulous name! If you have not already found one daughter Luise (German spelling) on familysearch.org, she is there with exact dates and husband Schlosser. I'm sure you're aware you will have to scour all the records in and around Stark and Canton and elsewhere in Ohio and follow all spellings you find. Go to the courthouse and look for her application for marriage license - should have her parents and birthplaces. And where are she and her husband buried? Has anyone photographed the tombstones - crypts, paperwork? And of course, follow her siblings and children. Probate actions. Primary sources are always better than secondary sources, but everything helps. Determining religion is important too. Just a couple tidbits out of a gazillion. Put the name in Google and you will get a famous German singer named Rene Carol, whose birth name was Gerhard Tschierschnitz, from Berlin, of Polish descent. Can't tell the relationship, since he was born 11 April 1920, but possibly there's a connection. That's only going to work if you work backwards from Ohio or wherever else they lived here, as I'm sure you know. I have not looked on Ancestry or for Ohio records - that's certainly going to help.
