Hello, Now that we have more information about my dear husband's great-grandfather I have rejoined this list. Christian Friedrich Wilhelm KOEHLER was born 22 Sept 1837 in Klinkow, Brandenburg, Prussia. >From his marriage record we find that his parents were Maria BRAND & Christian KOEHLER. We would love to know if they had other children, but so far, have not been able to locate that information. Although Christian (born 1837) emigrated out of Germany to the United States in 1863, we are still hoping to connect with any of the family who remained in Europe, as well as any in the US.. Naturally, we cannot be certain of the KOEHLER spelling, but this is the most common spelling we have found, thus far, for this US prodigenator of the family.
