It today is between Poland and Lithuania, not close to Hamburg. But, at one time (depending upon the time frame), Prussia (including Ostpreussen) went from the French border to Lithuania. Many of the duchies and kingdoms of what we consider 'Germany' today never were under Prussian rule. That issue would definitely need a time line per area as borders fluctuated.
