Thank you, Yvonne - The website where I found this lady was in German, and it appeared to be a whole society of people celebrating their German heritage. You are correct that I'll be searching for an address in Poland. I was hoping to find someone who had access to current telephone books for Olsztyn, Poland, possible even someone currently living there?? I'm new to the ROOTS Digest thing, so I'm probably not sure where to go from here. An internet search for phone numbers was not terribly helpful. I'll try a Polish List and see what I can find. To: [email protected] Message-ID: <[email protected]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1 Hello, List - I recently found a new name in our family tree and have renewed enthusiasm for the search! I found a reference to a relative who is quite possible still alive in Olsztyn. Her name was on a 2007 list of donors and volunteers for some kind of city celebration. The listing included her maiden name, which is how I found her. And now I have her married name. Unfortunately, I do not have an address at which to write her. She is probably in her mid 80s. I also don't speak German, but have been using Google Translator lately. Can anyone help me locate a possible address for a living person in Olsztyn? We can email?directly to protect her privacy. Thank you! Thank you! I only speak German. Yvonne in California
