I found an Immigrant Society out of Burbank, CA that has some researchers in Germany. I'm going to check with them first. I don't work due to illness and live with my parents who, if it does not cost an arm and a leg, will sometimes foot the bill for my genealogy searches. Hopefully, with an attempt, I'll try to go back to work this winter/spring. I'll then I'll be able to get the Church to search if the Immigrant Society doesn't work out.
