Hello, List - I recently found a new name in our family tree and have renewed enthusiasm for the search! I found a reference to a relative who is quite possible still alive in Olsztyn. Her name was on a 2007 list of donors and volunteers for some kind of city celebration.The listing included her maiden name, which is how I found her. And now I have her married name. Unfortunately, I do not have an address at which to write her. She is probably in her mid 80s. I also don't speak German, but have been using Google Translator lately. You can try writing to her in German. You don't say what her maiden name was, but there are still Germans living in that area (East Prussia), and a lot of Germans go there as tourists, so a lot of people in Olsztyn etc. speak some or much German. (Don't try using German in most of Poland! But the former East Prussia is more or less used to it. (I've gotten by pretty well there on the basis of bad German.) Bob Robert M.
