Livy, What an interesting family. Sharan Newman writes a series of novels about the middle ages. The heroine's father is Christian. His brother is Jewish. Their parents were killed in one of the pogroms.It really helped me to understand some of our common roots. Perhaps I will someday get back farther than 1660 on the Kleimenhagen family. I know that two of the Jewish people were killed in the concentration camp. Part of the Jewish family also changed their name after coming to the US and are now simply Hagen. Carol
