Mike, Have you tried finding a researcher who will go to the church? The minister of my great grandparents' hometown in Port Hope, Michigan kept great records in German and listed the hometowns of the married and dead. Get to those records! Have you searched the IGI at FamilySearch.org? At least one of my German families was listed there. Good hunting! dan
