Hello List, I am looking for information about the Kolpack family. There are many branches of Kolpacks in the US and Germany. The Kolpack family originated in the Kreis Rosenburg villages of Jacobau, Riesenkirsch, Rasenfeld and attended the lutheran church in Gross Bellschwitz. Most of the Kolpacks that came to the US left West Prussia in the 1870-1885 period. How can we determine the relationships between the branches of the family? Here in the US we could use census records. What could we look at to figure out how all these branches are connected? Any help you could give us would be appreciated. Thanks, Jeffrey Kolpack
