    2. Deborah, Plock was in the Kingdom of Poland, a Russian protectorate. It was both a town and a region that bordered West Prussia. My Polish ancestors from that area all seemed to marry "German" women. For them, Germany was right across the river. Denise Deborah, your names of Fuerst, Wrosch, & Schultz sound very German. The > area around Danzig (Gdansk) was a very German area of Prussia, tho now in > Poland. Didn't see the village name of "Plock" on any maps I have, but they > are hard to read. You might want to google Pomerania or Pomerania + maps or > + genealogy & see if you can find Plock on a map. Maybe even Plock + maps. > None of your names fit into my family either. Hope you can find a > connection thru the mail lists & message boards. Some of the replies to > mine occur after 3 or 4 yrs. > Good luck!! > Judy Petersen
