    3. When my PIECHACZEK family emigrated from Ottmuth to New Orleans, they had to have an emigration permission document. I don’t think it was an official passport, but it was necessary in order to leave the country. I have it – it’s wonderful – lists his pob/dob, his wife’s name & stats, and their daughter’s as well !!
