    3. http://www.familysearch.org/Eng/Library/FHLC/frameset_fhlc.asp Place search: Brandenburg and then search under "Emmigration". If you do this with Westpreussen you don't find such a card file of Westprussian emmigrants. But there are several documents about persons who left Westprussia. These documents (permission to leave the home) are in the State Archive in Danzig (today Gdansk).
