Ok. I'm a little baffled. My great grandfather John T Harvey was born in Baltimore, MD around 1859. I know his mother's name is Caroline...she was Prussian by birth. It's all the info I have. I don't have any other information following. Any help would be great. Shannan M Hinners

Try and find John Harvey's marriage license. Hi Lists: Once again, I am trying to locate my aliens. Peter Keissel b. 1808 in Germany d.? USA. Peter married Catherine Clovak (sp?) in the 1830s. Catherine b. 1808 in Germany d. ? USA. They had 3 known children: Catherine b. 1838 in Germany; Magdlena b. 1843 in Louisiana, USA and Jacob b. 1847 in Mississippi, USA. I was able to find them under the surname Kleissel in the 1850 Census. But from 1850 to 1863 when Magdlena married Alexander Henry Johnston, I cannot find the KEISSEL family anywhere. I also cannot find Catherine (the daughter) anyway besides 1850 Census. I was able to find Jacob in 1880 Census, but not 1860 or 1870. Any help whatsoever you can offer would be greatly appreciated. If you can find a good map library, they may have these and you can ask them to copy them for you [at a price, of course].
