Hey guys, Found this in deed abstracts from Spartanburg County, SC, and since it contains quite a few names, thought it might help someone: Nov. 4, 1800: William Pruett and wife Mary of Spartanburg to Jeduthun Woodson of same for $100 sold 50 acres on Motley's Creek of Tyger River. The land bordered Thomas Pruett and Woodson and was half of a grant dated March 5, 1787, from Gov. Thomas Pinkney to Thomas Pruett. Witnesses: John Grist, Samuel Pruett and Alexander Pruett. Signed with Wm. and Mary's marks. Witnesses' oath March 21, 1801. Recorded May 12, 1802.
