Searching for any descendants of a Herbert Pruitt who was the son of Lawrence Johnson Pruitt and his first wife Etta Brown. Herbert, believed to be his name, was born in 1883 in Jersey Co IL. His parents divorced shortly after his birth. According to a half-sister, my grandmother, Herbert was a teacher/professor in some Oklahoma university in the 1930's. Have no idea if he even married.
