My mother Gladys Pruitt came from Ardmore, OK. Her father was Henry Pruitt from west TX. He was killed in a construction accident ( brick wall collapsed on him) and sometime after that the family moved to NW AR. Mom an uncle named Milton Beebe who with grandma Beebe Pruitt ( her mother)were born in MO. It is said our Pruitt line came from Lancaster, KY, but I have seen no documentation of that fact outside of mom's favorite book which I have.
