PRUITT, AGE 51 ON THE 1880 RED RIVER COUNTY TX CENSUS, Born in Alabama (about 1829), father born in Tennessee, mother born in South Carolina, WIDOWER,with son, JOHN T. PRUITT, Age 15, born in Texas, both parents born in Alabama. I believe John E. also had a daughter named ALICE MARIAH PRUITT, age 21 on 1880 census, who married THOMAS FORTUNE. They had three children, Willie-daughter, age 3, Joseph-son, age 1 and Carol Douglas-son, born 1882. Alice and Thomas Fortune are listed immediately before John Pruitt and I know Alice's last name is Pruitt. Thanks in advance for any info. Mitzi
