Marci: Jacob and Nancy are also my fifth great grandparents. I descend from Margaret who married John Hopwood Hellums. Do you have anything on the parents of Nancy? I have found several sources and none of them agree. One source says she is the daughter of Thomas William Richey and Elizabeth Davis. The other says she is the daughter of John C. Ritchie, Sr. and Jane Davis. I have a copy of Agnes and Jacob's marriage bond and a William Ritchie signed her bond, but that was suppose to be her brother. I would like to compare notes, if you don't mind. I have pictures of Jacob's burial site, but could not find the plantation where William is suppose to be buried. Do you know where it is located.?
