Margaret, I have Nancy being born in Ireland her father as William Ritchie, no dates. I descend from William Madison Pruitt who md. 1.Sally Cavett,2. Martha Patsy Loney I also have some copy on Jacob out of the Alabama History, one being his burial site. A cousin took copy while visiting the area. She did not know to look for history on William Ritchie at the time. That could prove to be interesting data. Sorry, I don't know where William Ritche is buried, I also would like to find that data. It is my understanding the Ritchie family were well to do in Ireland, perhaps of Blue Blood. More research is needed. Of which of the John Hellums children is your line? Keep in touch.
