She is the daughter of James J Pruett and Rachell. I have been unable to find any thing other than family notes to connect Rachell to James J. but in the 1850 census records of Brazos county I find Catherine in the home of Hilling King who has a wife named Rachell. The 1860 census of Leon Co.,Tx list to Pruett children in the H.King & Rachell family. Also Marriage records of Brazos Co.,Tx. show Rachell Pruett marriage to Hillman King. All of that to say I think Rachell?? married James J. Pruett then he died and she married Hillman King. I would like to hear more from you. What is your connection?
