I am new to the list, and wonder if anyone can help me. I am looking for any information on The parents of Georgiana or Georgan Pruitt b. March 13, 1870 in Hardin Co. Tenn. She Married James Brooks June 23 1889 in Mcnariy Tenn. Died March 11, 1925 in Plainview Ark. Now what gets confusing to me is that her husband put her Father as George Marshall on her death certificate. and her mother as Margaret (no maiden name) Everything else I have found shows her as Pruitt. The only other thing I know is that she had a brother named Jim Pruitt. And that there may have been Cherokee Indian in the family. Any information anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated.
