You may be right. I figured since the age given him in the 1910 census would have placed his birth year as 1869 I figured my grandmother had the date right. There's a small family tree in my baby book and John E. Pruitt was listed with the 1869 birthdate, my grandmother Pruitt confirmed the date in the mid-80's. I'll check into the line you spoke of and see if it pans out. The mother of John E. You will find other information in the Richard A. Prewitt Book on Asa'a father and borthers. Also many other Pruitt's in Pittslvania who might prove out to be related someway. I am not selling his books. I have found much information on my own line a lot faster with his books as an aid. I'll check with my dad to find out if remebers the names of any of his grandfathers brothers. He doesn't seem to remember as much about his dad's side of the family as his mother's (Martin's).
