    3. I think it must be him as John E is the only John E in the 1880 census in the county. I have more info on the older brother Asa and his family born in the same county. Asa moved to Ohio later. I will go find the book and send more info for your records. Just happy to help with inf. I have on hand. I checked the world tree and didn't find anything listed at this time on this line. 3. I heard back from my dad and found out my John E. was NOT born in Danville as my grandmother told me. Dad thinks John was born outside Pittsylvania County and may even have been born in NC. By the time my dad was born John's mind was beginning to go and dad didn't get to know him as well as his grandpa Martin. Oh well...back to the drawing board. :) Rhonda in SD ----- Original Message ----- From: "Marci Preuit" <katie1@presys.com> To: <PRUITT-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, November 26, 2000 5:15 PM Subject: Re: [PRUITT] Rhonda in SD > I think it must be him as John E is the only John E in the 1880 census in > the county. > I have more info on the older brother Asa and his family born in the same > county. 3. I don't see any John E. in N.C. his age., only others much older. In all Va. counties records of Pruitts, he is the only one listed as John E. that I gave you. Check the last census when he was living for where he was. And order his death record for parents names that are listed. It also gives place of birth on it. Happy hunting. ----- Original Message ----- From: "rstu" <rstu@saintmail.net> To: <PRUITT-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, November 28, 2000 8:25 AM Subject: Re: [PRUITT] Rhonda in SD > I heard back from my dad and found out my John E. was NOT born in Danville > as my grandmother told me.
