Don, I don't think my direct line leaves Virginia. My dad, grandfather, and great-grandfather were all born in Danville, Va. I do know my grandfather had lots of brothers & sisters: Leo, Laura, Beulah (Boo), Eddie & Freddie (twins), Claude (my grandfather), Harry, and Eva. I know my dad rembers his Aunt's Laura & "Boo", and I don't think either of them left VA. Not sure though. I have no idea who John's parents or grandparents were or where the family came from before America. There could be lots of cousins in Texas & Oklahoma. :) Rhonda in SD ----- Original Message ----- From: "Donkelly" <donkelly@grovenet.net> To: <PRUITT-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, November 25, 2000 1:39 PM Subject: Re: [PRUITT] (PRUITT) Introduction > Greetings Rhonda. > > Family stories persist that our direct Pruitt line first lived in Colonial > Virginia > ( don't know where they came from or when ) but first documented in > Kentucky, then in Texas, then in Oklahoma, then without father Henry Pruitt > in Arkansas. > > I have school pictures of the children in Oklahoma. > > If your research from Virginia takes you to any of the states I mentioned, > let me know and I will dig out mom's book and provide the names and dates > for you. > > Don Kelly > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "June Waymire Pruitt or Hulon Pruitt" <jwhtpruitt@up-link.net> > To: <PRUITT-L@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Saturday, November 25, 2000 10:43 AM > Subject: [PRUITT] (PRUITT) Introduction > > > > Rhonda, > > > > Do you have a birth or death date for your JOHN E.
